Volleyball Art


We're offering three nights* of indoor recreational volleyball for adults at least 18 years of age at~SAVIN ROCK COMMUNITY SCHOOL GYM, 50 Park St.~  

This program allows 6 teams of 6 players each night. *COED is held on 2 nights- Monday night is for the intermediate player seeking competitive level play; Thursday night caters to the novice player who seeks recreational level play and on Wednesday, our highly competitive ”Ladies Night” meets.

Previous year's teams that are in "good standing", have 1st preference for return Thursday, Oct. 15th. deadline, however any interested team may place their name on the waitlist by calling the Recreation office or by registering on-line. In the event an opening should occur those teams will be contacted on a first come basis. Also, any individual interested in playing should plan on attending the first night to speak with team captains. (call office for start dates.)

MASKS MUST BE WORN IN ALL PUBLIC BUILDINGS IN WEST HAVEN

Fee per team: $285  Registration will open Oct. 1 for retuning teams.

General Information
  • ALL TEAMS will play in the single elimination tournament after the completion of their regular schedule. Schedule TBA.
  • Savin Rock Community School gymnasium at 50 Park St. is the venue.
  • 2 matches per team/night and 2 games per match. Match format: Match #1 begins promptly at 6:30pm! Match #2 & #3 MUST begin play 3 minutes after the ending of the previous scheduled match!
  • Last year's teams that are in "GOOD STANDING" have 1st choice for return. To secure a spot on a designated night, payment is due by 4:00pm Friday, Oct. 15 via your on-line household account, at our Painter Park office or by phone. Masks must be worn.
  • ANY "NEW" TEAM may place their name on a wait-list for the designated night.
  • Team Roster/waiver forms available via link below and MUST BE COMPLETED and TURNED IN on the first night of play.

  • This program does not meet on federal, state holidays or WHBOED sanctioned events at the school.
