West Haven Parks & Recreation is excited to offer our residents the game of Pickleball!
Pickleball is a combination of ping-pong , badminton , and tennis. It has grown in popularity over the past few years. We will use the gym at the old Molloy school on 255 Meloy Rd in West Haven.  It is a one court rental so group size will be limited.

The game is played on a 44 foot long court, and is 20 feet wide. Each side of the net has a left and right service area of 10 feet. It is 15 feet from the baseline to the net which includes and 7 foot non volley line. Separating the two teams in a 20 foot net approximately 36 inches tall.

Program Information 




  • Molloy will have 2 separate time slots Tuesday -Friday


  • Each time slot is reserved for twice a week


  • Tuesday/Thursday's & Wednesday & Friday's


  • 6+ players are allowed in for each time slot 


  • If you are registering as a group it must be done at the same time online


  • Players are not allowed to sign up for multiple time slots per day 


  • Time slot 1 - 4:00-6:00 PM


  • Time Slot 2 - 6:00-8:00 PM


  • Program starts in December & runs through March 


  • This program is designed for intermediate & advanced players


  • Players must bring their own racquet's and balls







Important Information




  • Cancellations and exclusion dates will be based on WHBOE schedule 


  • Players will be notified via WHPR email or text system  


  • Make sure your home account has all your up to date information 


  • WHPR is not in charge of a players showing up, if a player continuously misses their time slot then that player will be subject to losing the spot. There will be no refund issued. 


  • If you register as an individual, please let your group know if you cannot attend on a certain day 


  • WHPR follows all the current health & safety Guidelines for this program. Masks are required to be worn indoors.
