Guitar lessons
West Haven Parks & Recreation is excited to offer this 6 session course on of how to play a guitar. Come join instructor Dave Pirrello as he will take you through the beginning stages of guitar playing. Area's of focus will be holding the guitar properly , introduction to tabs, open chord voicing, power chords, chord reading, picking a finger style, learning basic songs, and lots more .... Dave will progress each week at the pace of the class. The purpose of this class is for the participant to gain an understanding of the instrument and see if its something they want to pursue in the future. Class will be instructive and interactive for all participants. This course is designed for anyone interested in learning to play the guitar. This course will be a refresher and continuation on  Dave's introduction class.

Class Details :
Thursday's  5:00- 5:45 PM  Ages: 13 & under
Thursday's 6:00-6:45 PM  Ages 14 & up
Located : Lower Level of Tall Oaks Building 

Class requirements:
**Must bring your own guitar**
