Easter Egg Scramble
Peter Cottontail is in town, Saturday, April 1st, to deliver his eggs to West Haven residents at the Parks & Recreation site. Hop on down to 190 Kelsey Avenue to the tennis courts to join the hunt. Pre-registration is encouraged but not required. We will have 4 age groups: 0-3, 4-5, 6-7 and 8-10. Please bring ID with proof of residency on that day.
We will have a jump rope contest and decorated egg contest per age group. Please bring a decorated egg with you (real, not paper) and enter into your appropriate age category with one of our staff.
There will also be a jelly bean counting contest there that you can enter a guess for while there.
Note: Only ONE parent/guardian may assist the 0 - 3 year old age group. All other categories will be unassisted.
***Candy may contain nuts, milk & eggs***
- Bring ID with proof of residency at least 15 min prior to hunt
- Bring decorated egg for contest
- Candy not allergen-free
Hunt times:
6:00 PM – Ages birth-3 (ONE adult may enter hunt with child)
6:20 PM- Ages 4-5 years old.
6:40 PM – Ages 6 – 7 years old
7:00 PM - Ages 8-10 years old
