HALLOWEEN HUNT 
 
West Haven residents get ready for our annual Halloween Hunt! Mark your calendars and come join us Thursday, October 24th at Painter Park on the tennis courts for a Halloween packed with fun and activities for children ages 12 and under! Costumes are highly encouraged, so come dressed in your best Halloween attire! You must pre-register for the appropriate age group on our website (www.whparkrec.com) and you have to be a West Haven resident.  
 

Our activities include:
  • Face Painting: Picasso Parties will be sending their team of talented face painters to transform kids into their favorite Halloween character or spooky design. 
  • Ring Toss & cornhole: Children can challenge their aim and have some friendly competition and win a small prize 
  • Candy Corn guessing contest: think you can guess the total number of candy corn in the jar? Be sure to stop by the table and take a shot!  
  • Candy Distribution: We will be handing out a bag of goodies for each child who registered in their appropriate age group, so everyone goes home with a sweet haul. 
General Information: 
*Must pre-register online. Must be a West Haven Resident  
* We recommend that participants check at least 15 minutes prior 
*Acceptable forms of I.D. - Valid W.H. Driver's License, utility bill or child's report card from WHBOED.   
*Check in at the top tennis Court for the event check-in and contest entries. 
*Rain Date: October 28th (Monday) 
 
Hunt schedule  
5:30 pm - Ages 3 & under- ONE adult may enter hunt area and assist child in hunt area 
5:50 pm - Ages 4–5 
6:10 pm - Ages 6–7 
6:30 pm - Ages 8-10 
6:50 pm – Ages 11-12  
 
* PLEASE NOTE: Candy provided may contain nuts, milk, & egg products

* Adjustments and discounts will be applied during checkout if applicable. *
