West Haven Parks & Recreation is proud to team up with West Haven High School Wrestling Coach Dr. James Cook to introduce a brand-new Youth Wrestling Program for students in grades K–8. Whether your child is stepping onto the mat for the first time or looking to sharpen their skills, this program is the perfect place to start. 
Coach James Cook brings over a decade of experience in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, martial arts, and education, along with a Doctorate in Education (Ed.D). His passion for teaching and personal development shines through in every class, creating a space where kids can grow in strength, confidence, and discipline. 

This program focuses on: 
 -Wrestling fundamentals and body awareness 
-Agility, balance, and coordination drills 
-Sportsmanship, teamwork, and self-discipline 
 
Program Details: 
Ages:  
Students in Grades K–8 
When: 
Wednesdays: 4:30 – 5:45 PM (April 9 – May 28) 
Saturdays: 9:00 – 10:00 AM (April 12 – May 31) 
Where:

Cost: 
8-Week Session: $120 
4-Week Session: $65
