West Haven Parks & Recreation has teamed up with Pickle Spot to provide a fun indoor 3-week training series for those looking to learn how to play the fastest growing sport. Take advantage of the special for West Haven residents! This course is called LEVEL UP! It is a continuation of our first course we offered and allows players to refresh the learned skills and apply them to group play. 
 
Pickle Spot coaches will help beginners learn the game in the following areas: 
 
  • Fundamentals- grip, stance, paddle control 
  • Shot techniques- dinks, volleys, serves, and smashes 
  • Game strategy- Positioning, shot selection and court awareness 
  • Rules & Scoring- understanding the game and competitive play 
 
Led by experienced instructors, each session will be two hours each. The first hour will be Coach led instruction, and the second hour will be group play execution.
