Intro to Fashion Design
 

In this class, students in grades 2-4 will learn the basics about sketching and learn about different types of fabrics from teacher Ciara Valois.  Ms. Valois can be found at her studio in New Haven when she isn’t working with her students at Seth Haley. She has studied fashion since childhood and attended a few fashion shows and style some models for Dior and the Today Show.  In this class, students will be provided education about the fashion industry and get a chance to design barbie-sized clothing to take home. Classes will run on Tuesday after school  at Parks & Recreation office for an hour for five weeks.fashion
