Summer Camp at Painter Park 2025

Painter Park Summer Day Camp is a 2-week, full day program from 9am- 4pm for kids ages 6 – 12 held at 190 Kelsey Avenue with an option of a 60 min early drop off or late pickup for an additional cost.
You can sign up for one or all of our three 2-wk sessions:
Session 1: June 23rd- July 11th     (*no camp July 3rd-4th*) **This is a 2.5 wk session**
Session 2: July 14th- July 25th
Session 3: July 28th- August 8th
Parent Orientation/Meet the counselors: Monday, June 16th at 6:30pm
We provide arts and crafts, games and pool visits daily (at WHHS Pool). Lunch is provided daily or you can bring your own lunch. We also invite some special guests each session (bookmobile, fire department, police department). Last year we added in a weekly cooking session and this year will be adding a science and dance session. Once a session we take a field trip to the beach where the oldest group can kayak.  Campers will be divided into groups by age and assigned to counselors.  Groups will rotate to different stations and participate in various small and large group activities.  Our counselors are trained to provide a safe and fun environment for your children and we also have a camp nurse on staff.  ** NOTE: although we try to accommodate children with special needs we are not a certified special needs facility and may not be equipped to handle your child's needs and do not offer 1-on-1 accommodations.   
Things your child will need:
  • Bathing suit and towel
  • Sunscreen and/or hat
  • Sneakers
  • Lunch, snacks, and water bottles
 
In the chance of inclement weather, we will hold camp at Mackrille school, but will notify you via email and/or text, so please be sure your email and phone number are up to date in our system.
Please be sure to complete all attached forms before camp starts. There will be a $20 discount if you have 2 kids in the camps and $40 if you have 3.
