Introduction to Fashion Design - Intro to Fashion Design
Intro to Fashion Design
In this class, students will learn the basics about sketching and learn about different types of fabrics from teacher Ciara Valois. Ms. Valois can be found at her studio in New Haven when she isn’t working with her students at Seth Haley. She has studied fashion since childhood and attended a few fashion shows and style some models for Dior and the Today Show. In this class, students will be provided education about the fashion industry and get a chance to design a project to take home. The lower grades will design barbie sized clothing and the uppers will design a teddy bear or similar project with some hand sewing involved. Classes will run after school for an hour for six weeks.
