Whether you are looking to get fit, learn new exercises, improve your speed, or just get away from video games for an hour, ..... this is the class for you! Coach Pete is a CSCS certified trainer who has a gym at the Wonderland of Ice in Bridgeport. Pete will show you exercises to make you faster and stronger.  Kids will use agility ladders, hurdles and beanbags to work on fast feet and coordination and use their own body weight to get stronger, while working on core exercises to stabilize the muscles needed for balance and to help you get stronger.Sign up for one or both classes. 4:00 PM - 5:15 PM	Fall Duckpin bowling @ Woodlawn - Woodlawn Duckpin Bowling West Haven Youth & Family Services is teaming up with West Haven Parks & Recreation to offer an after-school duckpin bowling for youth, ages 9-13 at Woodlawn duckpin Bowling.This 5-week program will be held between the hours of 4:00-5:15 PM every Wednesday starting November 6th- December 11th.  Participants will bowl in their socks. Snack Bar is available on site however the video games will be shut down during bowling. Parents should promptly drop and pickup their child from the program. Department staff  will be on hand to organize and help keep score. Whether you are looking to get fit, learn new exercises, improve your speed, or just get away from video games for an hour, ..... this is the class for you! Coach Pete is a CSCS certified trainer who has a gym at the Wonderland of Ice in Bridgeport. Pete will show you exercises to make you faster and stronger.  Kids will use agility ladders, hurdles and beanbags to work on fast feet and coordination and use their own body weight to get stronger, while working on core exercises to stabilize the muscles needed for balance and to help you get stronger.Sign up for one or both classes. Mary brings her love and knowledge of cooking to the kids by teaching them to measure, cut and mix while teaching the safeties of the kitchen. Kids will eat their meal in class and take home any leftovers.Mary began her journey by watching and helping her mother baking and cooking traditional Italian cuisine. Her repertoire has expanded beyond cooking Italian food as she has spent many years working in the restaurant business. Mary spent many years working with both children and adults alike and books private birthday parties as well.  Some classes are co-taught by her husband, Gregg. Gregg is an award winning culinary arts and restaurant management teacher who currently teaches at the high school and college level. Both instructors are ServSafe certified. 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM	Breakfast with Santa - Breakfast with Santa West Haven Parks & Recreation is excited to bring back our Holiday Tradition: Breakfast with Santa.West Haven youth (ages 5-9) will play games, have breakfast, and enjoy arts & crafts along with getting a small gift & their picture taken with Santa. Breakfast will include pancakes, bacon, hash browns and fruit. This program is Saturday, December 14th from 9:00-11:00 in the Lower Level of the Tall Oaks building at Painter Park.Spots are limited. This is a drop-off program and the children will be supervised by the Recreation staff* PLEASE NOTE: Food provided contains nuts, milk, & egg products.*
